One day in the life of a beekeeper

Referent: Sebastian Schnepf

Synopsis: In the world of bees, there are many species: wild bees mostly live alone, bumblebees buzz through gardens, and honeybees live in large colonies – they are the stars of beekeeping. To collect nectar, they need forage plants like wildflowers or fruit trees. But problems such as pesticides, parasites, and habitat loss make life difficult for them. Those who protect bees are often rewarded with a special treasure: honey – sweet, healthy, and full of nature.
