This year has once again shown us how valuable team spirit is. The year was particularly characterised by our events. One highlight was our Annual General Meeting in Meiningen, which provided many wonderful moments. We were also represented at the Martinimarkt in Bürs last month: We were able to showcase the diversity of philately with ‘stamp art’ and creative projects. Such opportunities are important to publicise our hobby. The same applies to our travelling exhibition in Vorarlberg, where we have exhibited in Bludenz, Feldkirch, Hohenems and Bregenz over the last few months and were represented at an event in Altach (here also with the items from Bürs).
This year, Clemens can also call himself Regional Champion of the Western Region in Austria, and we are creating personalised stamps for friends.
The major philatelic event in Ulm was another highlight. An interactive touchscreen presentation, developed by Daniela, was particularly popular with the younger visitors. Many thanks to Christoph Wendland for the technical support! Self-made capsule money and jewellery made from stamps aroused interest, and an analogue escape room game with stamp questions at the youth stand was very popular. In future, we want to realise this digitally to make it accessible to even more young people. For us, Ulm was characterised by many discussions (including contentious ones) and interactions. But the philately – exhibition and dealers – was not neglected either.
