Čupić was deeply committed to improving medical care for children, especially newborns and infants. Vaclovas Intas (1925–2007) was a Lithuanian physician who rendered outstanding service to the medical care of the rural population. After completing his medical studies in Kaunas, he worked from 1955 as an internist and later as chief physician in Mosėdis. Even after the local hospital was closed, he continued to serve as a rural doctor, caring for several thousand people over many decades. Alongside his medical work, Intas began collecting and artistically arranging natural stones in Mosėdis in 1957. This initiative led to the creation of a unique stone park, which was officially recognized as a stone museum in 1979. Today, the museum bears his name and stands as an important cultural and natural heritage complementing his lifelong work as a physician.
