Clemens has been particularly active in recent weeks. Our traveling exhibition, supported by the ÖSVLPH, the ArGe Medizin und Pharmazie, the International Stamp Club Rosenegg and the BSV Bludenz, showed thematic exhibits on medicine, science, history and postcards with embroidery at various locations in the Ländle.

The starting signal was given at Bludenz secondary school. We were once again able to present our 16 “star” frames there. We are now well established there and the principal has already invited us back next year, this time with new topics. Perhaps we will then also be able to hold a small lesson again.

The exhibition moved seamlessly on to the foyer of the Bludenz Regional Hospital. Here we presented 14 frames.

The person in charge was impressed by the variety of philately and sent us an e-mail that made us particularly happy: “My favorite exhibit is the one with the snails for gastritis – it reminds me of my grandpa, who always said that you should eat a snail if your stomach hurts… and then I read that and hear my grandpa. I also always like the lettering on the letters – the exhibition goes far beyond stamps. Thank you very much for the great exhibition.”

We have now arrived at Feldkirch Regional Hospital, again with 16 frames. We have also received positive feedback here in the foyer. It is particularly pleasing that we have been told that visitors often stop in front of the exhibits. Unfortunately, no one has yet contacted us directly. Perhaps we should change our concept in future, be on site in person or set up an interactive advertising column.

Finally, I would like to thank all the helpers who support Clemens in transporting and setting up the heavy frames and who sacrifice their free time for our clubs. They are not philatelists, but they share our enthusiasm for philately.
