Summary: Plants are found everywhere on our planet: whether in the ice-free polar battle zones, in deserts, on snow-free mountain peaks, or in the waters of our lakes and oceans, vegetation is ubiquitous. Adapted and sometimes inconspicuous, often lush or even a nuisance, the presence of plants cannot be overlooked. What does plant life look like on railroad embankments and tracks, especially on the Vorarlberg lines of the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB).
